Max is a passionate, engaging and purposeful speaker who is dedicated to coaching students, their families and his colleagues on Digital Identity Development, helping them to understand how the impact of what they choose to post online today may have on their future. Max has spoken at national and regional conferences, including ACPA, NASPA, and NEACUHO, in addition to traveling across Massachusetts speaking about Cyberbullying and Bystander Intervention to more than 17,000 Elementary, Middle, High School and College students.
Max earned his Master of Education degree in Student Affairs Counseling from Bridewater State University where he completed his graduate thesis “Digitizing the 7 Vectors: Exploring how College Students Develop their Identity”. Max has been featured in an ACUHO-i Conversation in the Talking Stick Magazine, and currently serves as the Technology Knowledge Community Representative for NASPA Region I and as the Coordinator of Living-Learning Communities at the University of Massachusetts Lowell.
